2 Timothy 3:16-17
English
Standard Version
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for
teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God] may be
complete, equipped for every good work.
God
wrote the Bible, but He used man to hold the pen. (Chris Hodges)
We read the Bible to allow it to change us.
Just as we need to have the right tool to fix whatever is wrong in our houses.
We need the right promise in God's Word to pray for each need.
God's promise in God's Word is God's will.
God's promise is what gives us the
authority to ask.

John 5:14
English
Standard Version
14 And this is the confidence that we have
toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.
The secret is that we must apply God's specific promise that corresponds with each need that we are facing.
