Overcoming Worry


Philippians 4:6  (ESV)

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.




We are commanded by God to not worry about anything.  Doing less is sin.




Philippians 4:6-7 (MSG)

6-7 Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns.




When a troubling thought enters your mind, take that worry and transform it into a sentence prayer to God. 




First, worship.
Next, make a request. 

Lastly, thank God that He's got it handled, and is taking care of you.
