When
you are going through a bad day be sure you have taken care of those near you like Jesus on the Cross.
John 19:26-27 (NIV)
26 When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to
her, “Woman, here is your son,” 27 and to the
disciple, “Here is your mother.” From that time on, this disciple
took her into his home.
2 Peter 1:3 (NIV)
His divine power has given us everything we
need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by
his own glory and goodness.
4 Decisions to keep you from
passing your bad day to others.
1. Identify the real problem.
Ephesians 6:12 (NIV)
12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but
against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of
this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly
realms.
2. Avoid the pity party.
1 Peter 5:7 (NIV)
7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
3. Live a connected life with others.
Acts 10:2 (NIV)
2 He (Cornelius) and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he
gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly.
4. Look to Jesus.
Hebrews 12:2 (NIV)
Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the
pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the
cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the
throne of God.
