Celebrating the Journey

(Exodus 6:6-7) Therefore, say to the Israelites: “I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians. I will free you from being slaves to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of judgment. I will take you as my own people, and I will be your God.”

 The Cup of Sanctification.

 The Cup of Deliverance.

 The Cup of Redemption.

 The Cup of Praise.

CELEBRATING THE JOURNEY

(Ephesians 1:11-12 Message) It's in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone.

1. Be saved and set free.

(John 8:34) Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.”

(Titus 3:3-7 Message) It wasn't so long ago that we ourselves were stupid and stubborn, dupes of sin, ordered every which way by our glands, going around with a chip on our shoulder, hated and hating back.

But when God, our kind and loving Savior God, stepped in, he saved us from all that. It was all his doing; we had nothing to do with it. He gave us a good bath, and we came out of it new people, washed inside and out by the Holy Spirit.

Our Savior Jesus poured out new life so generously. God's gift has restored our relationship with him and given us back our lives. And there's more life to come—an eternity of life!

2. Be healed and delivered.

(Luke 4:18) “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed.”

(John 8:34-36) Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

3. Be discipled and equipped.

(2 Corinthians 3:18 Message) …our lives are gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like him.

(Ephesians 4:7, 11-12) But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it… (God gave pastors) to prepare God's people for works of service.

4. Be empowered and fulfilled.

(Ephesians 1:18-19) I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe.
