How God Operates

(The Process is to) Draw near to God, and (The Promise is) then He will draw near to you.  James 4:8.

This highlights how God operates.

It is a process first, and then it is a promise.

It is a process before it is a promise.

It is the process that gets you to the promise.

Alignment starts with me.

Assignment starts with God.

Get aligned with what God wants you to do.

He changes things.

If you're aligned with your authority, God opens doors that you couldn't open yourself.

The Bible is not a book of destiny, but a book of decisions (the process).

You've just have to yield yourselves (to the conditions of a promise from God).

1. You've got to think good thoughts.

Don't think feelings of inadequacy.

At some point, you've got to start thinking good thoughts.

Exodus 14:13-16.

Be still.

What you call patience.  God calls procrastination.

You already have what you need to be.

Quit disqualifying yourself.

So many of us struggle with the process.

God has created ways to get you to your purpose quicker (if you'll just stay on the process).

2. Think God's Thoughts.

John 16:33

If you want the enemy to steal your dreams.

Just do nothing.

You don't have to overcome the world.

You just have to overcome you.

The biggest fight is with yourself.

You have to think God's thoughts.

What you see is not all there is.

He is the I Am.

He is a very present help in a time of need.

God is already there where you are going.

He just manifests Himself in your future where He already is.

Don't get stuck in one place emotionally.

Try something you've never tried before.

God is outside of what you're going through.

He sees what will happen to you before you get there.

3. Think grateful thoughts.

Align yourself with Jesus.

(Moment by moment and step by step).

You'll be going wherever He goes.

Sometimes it'll get dark where you're going, so you must trust.

(He sees a way to your destination that you cannot see).

Sometimes you'll get around people who are an enemy to your purpose.

Remember, your haters are (God's) elevators. Read Psalm 23.
