Jesus had a bigger target than just the present. I John 3:8. He could not save Himself from the cross, and us too! Matthew 20:17-19. Luke 19:28-40.
1. The donkey had never been ridden. He had been saved for a higher purpose. We are to live life for God's higher purpose.
2. The donkey was where he was suppose to be. Sometimes it's hard to stay put. There is no fruit on unplanted trees.
3. The donkey had to be untied before he could be used. He had to find freedom.
4. The donkey had to be tamed, so He could be used by Jesus for His higher purpose.
