Relationship Planning

Be kind and friendly to people who travel through your life.

Watch your body language and tone.

Smile.

To harvest kindness, you've got to sow it into others.

Bring out the best in others.

Our best friends are the friends who bring out the best in us.

Focus on what others are doing right.

Don't focus on what they are right now, but what they are becoming.

Peter struggled, but Jesus saw what Peter would become with His help, which was a solid person like a rock.

Don't take others for granted.

Compliment.

Compliments are the glue that hold relationships together.

Be free with heartfelt compliments.

Speak them out loud.

If you can't give away money, surely you can at least give away a compliment.

You are never more like God than when you give.

Keep strife out of your life.

We've got to give everybody a little bit of room.

Give people the benefit of the doubt.

We shouldn't expect them to be perfect. (read I Cor. 13:5-6)

Love allows for the faults of others.

Get into the habit of being positive.

Ask do you want to be right, or do you want to have peace?

Don't make a big deal out of things that are not a big deal.

Other people change when you keep a good attitude and quit nagging.

We need to adapt to keep the peace.

Learn to swallow your pride, and get your mind off yourself.

Be a maker of peace.

Allow for others to have a bad day every once and a while.
