In John 14:30, Jesus referred to Satan as the Prince of this world.
Satan was created perfectly wise and perfect in beauty.
He was a cherub or the ruling angel in God's presence.
As the High Priest of heaven, he took the praise of angels and offered them to God until Satan was corrupted by pride and iniquity was found in him.
The merchandise that passed through Satan's hands was the praise of angels.
He stole the praise that belonged to God. Therefore, he fell from his exalted position.
At that point, the angels had to choose who to worship.
