Divine Healing

James 5:14-15  (NLT)

Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord.15 Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven.

1. God still heals people.  

Hebrews 13:8 New Living Translation (NLT)

8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

 

2 Timothy 4:18 (NLT)

18 Yes, and the Lord will deliver me from every evil attack and will bring me safely into his heavenly Kingdom. All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.

2. God is concerned about my soul.  

Romans 8:29  (NLT)

29 For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son,

3. God wants me to grow in my faith. 

Hebrews 11:6  (NLT)

6 And it is impossible to please God without faith. 

Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.
