Every promise has a premise

God's promise is an offer with a guaranteed result (Joshua 21:45, Hebrews 6:17-18).

1. I need to know God's promises found in God's Word (1 Chr. 17:19)

2. I need to understand God's promises (2 Cor. 1:20, Number 23:19).  

Every promise has a premise.

A. We must stay close to God.

B. We must hang on to the promise by Faith.

C. God is patient and answers in His timing.

3. We need to watch for the fulfillment of His promises (Psalm 119:140, 148).

God's Core Promises (Exodus 5:6-7)

1. God will bring you out. God promises me salvation (Titus 3:3-8).

2. God will free you.  God promises me deliverance (Romans 7:25-8:2)

3. God will redeem you.  God promises me restoration (Ephesians 1:11-12)

4. God will take you as His own people.  God promises me fulfillment (John 10:10).
