Statements Jesus made from the Cross

It opens the windows of grace.

Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”

3.  Always honor in every conversation.  Understand the weight of our words.

And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

1 Peter 2:17 New King James Version (NKJV)

17 Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.

4.  Ask Questions
Know the power of a question.  Seek to understand.  Not to be understood.

Matthew 27:46 New King James Version (NKJV)

46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”

5.  Stay on Mission.
Be relatable.

John 19:28 New King James Version (NKJV)

28 After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, “I thirst!”

6. Keep no records.

46 And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, “Father, ‘into Your hands I commit My spirit.’  Having said this, He breathed His last.
