The resurrection of Jesus gives you the power to close the
gap between the life you are living and could live.
Romans 8:11 (NIV)
11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is
living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your
mortal bodies because of[a] his
Spirit who lives in you.
Why 3 days?
1 Peter 2:24 (NIV)
24 “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so
that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you
have been healed.”
Friday: The Day
of Pain and Warring
1. Jesus
experienced physical pain.
2. Jesus
experienced emotional pain.
3. Jesus
experienced relational pain.
God always put
purpose in our pain.
Romans 8:28 (NIV)
28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of
those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
There is no pain
that His purpose cannot redeem.
Saturday: The
Day of Confusion and Waiting.
When we are
confused...
1. We want
answers.
2. We begin to
doubt. (John 20:27)
3. We give up
and back to what we know. (John 21:3)
4. We feel alone.
There is no
confusion that His presence cannot calm.
Psalm
73:16-17 (NIV)
16 When
I tried to understand all this,
it troubled me deeply
17 till I entered the
sanctuary of God;
then I understood their final destiny.
Sunday: The Day of Resurrection and Winning.
Jesus is the Resurrection
it troubled me deeply
17 till I entered the sanctuary of God;
then I understood their final destiny.
John 11:25-26 (NIV)
25 Jesus
said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who
believes in me will live, even though they die;
26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do
you believe this?”
There is no death that His power cannot resurrect.
Philippians 3:10-11 (NIV)
10 I
want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and
participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,
11 and
so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.
There is no past that Jesus cannot take. Say Lord Jesus, be my Lord and save me. You're the only one who can.
