Let's say what we can't see, so
we can see what we say.
Ephesians 2:10 (ESV)
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ
Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we
should walk in them.
How do we walk in the plan of
God for us which is good works?
Hebrews 12:2 (ESV)
2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our
faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross,
despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of
God.
Faith is the language of God.
It is His love language. Jesus
talked in faith, and He walked in faith. When Jesus saw death, He
spoke life.
Hebrews 11:6 (ESV)
6 And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever
would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he
rewards those who seek him.
Joel 3:10 (NKJV)
10 Beat your plowshares into swords
And your pruning hooks into spears;
Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’
And your pruning hooks into spears;
Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’
We may be weak, but we say that
we are strong.
We want the promises of God
without learning the language of God. God wants to know you.
I might have to change a little
bit about me to learn more about Him.
Romans 12:3 (ESV)
For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among
you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to
think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of
faith that God has assigned.
God has given us all the
ability to believe. Kids believe in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and
the tooth fairy.
We must believe again like kids
because God is real. Faith is a gift from God.
Satan can't reverse your
calling, but he will attack your focus from what it should be
on.
We must focus on God himself who is the only one who can help
us.
How your enemy attacks
you.
1. He will bind you to old
mindsets.
Satan
will make you feel inadequate. Satan is lying to all of us.
When Satan reminds you of what
you did, you remind him on what Jesus did.
2. He will blind you to what
God is doing in your life right now.
3. He will confine you to a
safe little life.
You will never get to your
destiny until you invest to time, energy, and study to reaching your
potential.
Some of us are sitting in a New
Year with an old mind set.
How to resist your enemy,
Satan.
1. When the enemy fights your
focus, you focus on your God.
What you need to do is to
surrender to God's hand.
2. Connect with God and other
believers.
God was with Adam, but God
recognized that he needed another person.
3. Focus on the needs of
others.
Your ultimate purpose is to
reach others, or you'd die the moment that you got saved.
2 Corinthians 5:19-20 (ESV)
19 that is, in Christ God was
reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses
against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.
20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for
Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of
Christ, be reconciled to God.
The seeds that you plant in
Christ never die. What's killing the potential God has placed in you?
Name it. Activate your faith and see what God will do.
Lord Jesus, forgive my
past. Be my Lord and Savior. Please save me. You're the only
one who can.
