What Qualifies YOU to Pray?

Prayer sets the tone for your life.  It sets you up for God's favor.  That's what happened to a man named Jabez.

1 Chronicles 4:9-10 (NIV)

9 Jabez was more honorable than his brothers. His mother had named him Jabez, saying, “I gave birth to him in pain.”

Jabez used prayer to deal with his pain.  Jabez was not perfect, but he had pain that qualified him to pray. 

If you need God, He's here to help.  You're invited to ask (Matthew 7:7).  

10 Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! 

Cry out to God with passion like Jabez.  Ask God to bless you to be a channel of blessings to others like Jabez did.  We want more ministry.  The world needs it. 

Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.

Jabez made a decision to seek God's favor.  Don't give God reasons not to bless you.  Tell Him about His disposition to bless and just ask.
