The Gap

The root cause of disappointment is our expectations.
  

Disappointment is the gap between our reality and our expectations.


Experiencing disappointment is inevitable, but living in disappointment is a choice  (Romans 5:5).


How do we move past our disappointments?


1. Remember God's character.  He loves you enough not to leave you in your disappointment (Isaiah 49:23 B).


2. Rest in God's power (Eph. 3:20).


3.  Return to God's presence (John 15:4).
