The Last Week

Matthew 20:18-19 NKJV
18 “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death,

19 and deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify. And the third day He will rise again.”

7 days before the cross.

John 12:1 NKJV
1 Then, six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus was who had been dead, whom He had raised from the dead.

6 days before the cross.

John 12:12-13 NKJV
12 The next day a great multitude that had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,

13 took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and cried out:“Hosanna!‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’The King of Israel!”

5 days before the cross.

Matthew 21–26; Mark 11–14; Luke 19–22

When Jesus was being whom they wanted Him to be... a king, they gave Him palms.

When Jesus was being whom they needed Him to be... a savior, they gave Him thorns.

Matthew 26:2 NKJV
2 “You know that after two days is the Passover, and the Son of Man will be delivered up to be crucified.”

Matthew 26:12 NKJV
12 For in pouring this fragrant oil on My body, she did it for My burial.

This was the only anointing Jesus received for His body for His death.

Luke 22:15 NKJV
15 Then He said to them, “With fervent desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer;

1. We are not anti-Semitic.

John 10:18 NLT
18 No one can take my life from me. I sacrifice it voluntarily.

For I have the authority to lay it down when I want to and also to take it up again. For this is what my Father has commanded.”

Jesus put Jesus on the Cross.

2. We are for the Jewish people.

Romans 1:16 NKJV
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

1 in 1,000,000,000,000,000,000

This is the odds that one man could fulfill 8 prophecies.  Jesus fulfilled 53 prophecies.

3. We are for the whole world.

We love Jews, Asians, Arabs, and everyone else.

Revelation 7:9 NKJV
9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands,

Before you die, have you said everything you wanted to say?

Before you die, have you done everything you wanted to do?

Have you accepted Jesus as your Savior.

What is the Holy Spirit saying to me through this message?
