The Power of the Blood

1. Pray for people who need Jesus.

2. Invite people who need Jesus to Church.

3. Welcome people who come and help them find their way.

(Proverbs 29:18 MSG) If people can't see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves; but when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed.

What’s Next?

(Psalm 16:11 NLT)

You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.

Know God.

Find Freedom.

Honesty is one of the keys for freedom.

Salvation comes when we confess our sins to God.

Healing comes when we confess our sins to a trusted Christian friend.

Discover Purpose.

Make a Difference.

Power in the Blood

(1 Corinthians 1:18) For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

The Cross is the power of God to forgive you!

(Revelation 12:10-11 NLT) Then I heard a loud voice shouting across the heavens,

“It has come at last— salvation and power and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ.

For the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down to earth— the one who accuses them before our God day and night.

And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony.

(Isaiah 53:5) But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.

1. The Whip: Freedom in my body.

(1 Peter 2:24) “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”

2. The Thorns: Freedom in my mind.

Jesus can take the pain in your mind.

(John 14:27) Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

(Isaiah 26:3 NKJV) You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.

3. The Nails: Freedom in my hands.

(Hebrews 8:12) “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”

God refuses to remember or to dwell upon your past sins.

(Hebrews 9:14 NLT) Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our consciences from sinful deeds so that we can worship the living God.

Sin is what you do.  Iniquity is how you feel about it.

God can clear your conscience by what Jesus has done for you on the cross.

4. The Spear: Freedom in my heart.

(Psalm 147:3) He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

Jesus died from a broken heart (John 19:34).

(1 Corinthians 11:23-26) The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.”

In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.

Lord Jesus, I give to you my life.  Forgive my past.  Be my Lord and Savior.

Amen!
