Isaiah 35:5-6 ESV
5 Then the eyes of the
blind shall be opened,and the ears of the deaf unstopped;
6 then shall the lame man
leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute sing for joy. For waters break
forth in the wilderness,and streams in the desert;
1. God does signs and
wonders. Signs
and wonders have not passed away because God Himself has not passed away.

these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders,
and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves
also know—

43 Then fear came upon
every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the
apostles.
Romans 15:18-19 NKJV
18 For I will not dare to
speak of any of those things which Christ has not accomplished through me, in
word and deed, to make the Gentiles obedient—
19 in mighty signs and
wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God, so that from Jerusalem and
round about to Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.
Hebrews 2:4 NKJV
4 God also bearing witness
both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts

2. God heals spiritually.
Luke 17:17-19 NKJV
17 So Jesus answered and
said, “Were
there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine?
18 Were there not any found
who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?”
19 And He said to
him, “Arise,
go your way. Your faith has made you well.”

13 For “whoever calls on
the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

foolish people,Without understanding,
Who have eyes and see not,And
who have ears and hear not:

the midst of a rebellious house,
which has eyes to see but does
not see, and ears to hear but does not hear;
for they are a rebellious house.
Acts 9:18 NKJV
18 Immediately there fell
from his eyes something like scales,
and he received his sight
at once;
and he arose and was baptized.
3. God opens wombs.
If you are a believer in
Jesus, God will never punish you for your sins. He has already punished
Jesus for them. He is a just God. He would never punish two people for
the same sin.

18 for the Lord had
closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech because of Sarah,

give a double portion, for he loved Hannah, although the Lord had
closed her womb.
God was doing a work in
Hannah's heart. God needed Samuel to be born at the right time to
anoint David as King.
Genesis 29:31 NKJV
31 When the Lord saw that
Leah was unloved, He opened her womb; but Rachel was barren.
Genesis 30:22 NKJV
22 Then God remembered
Rachel, and God listened to her and opened her womb.
Rachel prayed to God for her
womb to be opened.
Matthew 20:29-34 NKJV
29 Now as they went out of
Jericho, a great multitude followed Him.
30 And behold, two blind
men sitting by the road, when they heard that Jesus was passing by, cried out,
saying, “Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David!”
31 Then the multitude
warned them that they should be quiet; but they cried out all the more, saying,
“Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David!”
32 So Jesus stood still and
called them, and said, “What do you want Me to do for you?”
33 They said to Him, “Lord,
that our eyes may be opened.”
34 So Jesus had compassion
and touched their eyes. And immediately their eyes received sight, and they
followed Him.
What is the Holy Spirit
