1. Holy Spirit comfort me.
John 14:27 (NIV)
Peace I (Jesus) leave with you; my peace I give
you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be
troubled and do not be afraid.
2. Holy Spirit teach me.
John 14:26 (NIV)
But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the
Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of
everything I have said to you.
Hebrews 4:12-13 (NIV)
For the word of God is alive and active.
Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and
spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
Nothing
in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid
bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
3. Holy Spirit use me.
John 15:26 (NIV)
“When the Advocate comes, whom I (Jesus) will
send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father—he
will testify about me.
Acts 1:8 (NIV)
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit
comes on you; and you will be my (Jesus's) witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and
Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
4. Holy Spirit convict
me.
John 16:8 (NKJV)
And when He has come, He will convict the world
of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
Psalm 139:23-24 (NKJV)
Search me, O God, and know my heart;
Try me, and know my anxieties;
Try me, and know my anxieties;
And see if there is any wicked way in me,
And lead me in the way everlasting.
5. Holy Spirit guide
me.
John 16:13 (NKJV)
However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has
come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority,
but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.
Ephesians 2:14 (NKJV)
For He (Jesus) Himself is our peace, who has made both
one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,
6. Lord Jesus, send your Spirit to me, and make me one with you. Amen
