Work Your Waiting

The promises of God are waiting for the obedience of God's people.

God is calling us to something more.

We don't exercise our authority because we don't think we have it.  (Matthew 28:19).

God will never give us anything that we don't have to fight for except salvation.  (Hebrews 4:11).

We must step out by faith not by sight.

It's not what's happening around us, but what's happening in us. (2 Corinthians 5:7).

Don't think about what you see, but what God is willing to give us.

1.  This won't be easy.

Anything good is worth waiting for.   Life is hard.  (John 16:33).

2. We can't stay where we are.

What we call waiting God calls procrastination. (Revelation 3:20).

If we can't stay here, why are we still here?

What's keeping us from our next step?

Don't be distracted by things that don't matter.

50% of people who graduate from High School never read another book.  Why not read something that will help you?

Open yourself to the Word of God- the Bible. (Psalm 27:4).  We must pursue the heart of God not our culture.

3.  We have a promise.

(Hebrews 13:5).  God will never forsake us.

Jeremiah 29:13 (NIV)

13 You will seek me (God) and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
