Prayer
is the difference between the best we can do and the best God can
do.
The
problem with trouble is we don't know where the problem is going.
Prayer
puts my unknown future into the hands of the all knowing God.
Prayer
puts my hopelessness into the hands of our all powerful God.
Prayer
puts my broken life into the hands of our all forgiving God.

Corinthians 5:21
The
Message
...In Christ. God put the wrong on him who never
did anything wrong, so we could be put right with God.
1.
Faith begins with a word from God.
We
get a word from God in the Word of God, the Bible.
Romans
10:17
New
Living Translation
17 So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing
the Good News about Christ.

Psalm
121:1-3
New
Living Translation
1 I look up to the mountains—
does my help come from there?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth!
3 He will not let you stumble;
the one who watches over you will not slumber.
2. Faith builds when we determine not to give
up.
Romans
4:20-22
New
King James Version
20 He did not waver at the promise of God through
unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, 21 and
being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to
perform. 22 And therefore “it was accounted to him for
righteousness.”
Hebrews
10:36-39
New
King James Version
36 For you have need of endurance, so that after
you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:
37 “For yet a little while,
And He who is coming will come and will not tarry.
38 Now the just shall live by faith;
But if anyone draws back,
My soul has no pleasure in him.”
3. Faith breaks through the natural into the
supernatural.
James
5:17-18
English
Standard Version
17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he
prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six
months it did not rain on the earth. 18 Then he prayed again,
and heaven gave rain, and the earth bore its fruit.
We aren't earthly people who are going to have
a heavenly experience. We are already heavenly people having a momentary
earthly experience.
It's not about the election, the virus, our
finances, but about people knowing Him.
James
5:19-20
Living
Bible
19 Dear brothers (and sisters), if anyone has slipped away
from God and no longer trusts the Lord and someone helps him understand the
Truth again, 20 that person who brings him back to God will
have saved a wandering soul from death, bringing about the forgiveness of his
many sins.
