Chris Hodges, Pastor of Church of the Highlands, tells a story about how he reached His classmates when he was a new believer.
As he meet at the flag pole with other believers for prayer before school, he'd ask students coming off the buses if he could pray for them.
Chris says although they wouldn't join him in prayer.
They would ask for prayer for things like tests, sports, relationships, etc...
If it would work for Chris as a student to reach students,it still should work to reach others today.
Aren't we called to be priests? (I Peter 2:9)
Isn't a priest suppose to intercede for others to God?
About what?
Other's Prayer requests?
In the Bible, Job lost it all, and he cried out to God in frustration.
However, God turned it around for Job after he prayed first for his friends. Job 42:10
Are you calling out to God in frustration? Why not first intercede to God for others?
Could your break through be this simple?
Yesterday, we started 21 days of Prayer at Church of the Highlands.
Why not ask family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, and enemies that God brings across your paths and into your minds...
What can I pray for you about during 21 days of prayer?
If Chris was able to reach his world like this as a student,
