1. God hears your prayers whether they are big or small.
2. God answers your prayers conditionally.
3. There is a space between your prayer and His answer.
(Daniel 10:10-13)
The space is the place of waiting.
We must trust God that He is working in the space.
As we step into that space it is treacherous, the enemy attacks us there.
God is not waiting for perfect prayers, but He is waiting for your faith to perfect.
Perfect faith trades faith in your problem for faith in your God.
Perfecting faith involves waiting.
Let go of your problem, but cling to your God.
Abraham waited for Isaac for decades for his faith to perfect.
Mary and Martha waited 4 days for the resurrection of their brother, Lazarus.
In the space between your prayer and His answer, God does His best work.
We get dependent.
We get strong in God.
Our faith in Him perfects.
In the space...
1. Focus on Jesus on the cross to remind you of God's love.
2. Find a Bible verse with a promise for your faith to stand upon.
3. Focus on God's character.
a. He is good.
b. He can not and will not lie.
c. He sees and hears everything including your prayers.
d. He is so big that no problem is too tough for Him to handle.
God's goal for you is greater than the request from you.
God fills the space with faith.
Faith is the key that opens the door to answered prayer.
Matthew 21:22(NIRV) If you believe, you will receive what you ask for when you pray.”
Once faith perfects... the door opens.
