Judgement Days

Paul's job was originally to stamp out Christianity.  Then, Paul encountered the resurrected Jesus, and he ultimately dies for Jesus. He wrote this.

Galatians 5:1 (NKJV)

Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

We must stand firm in our position of freedom in Christ. Legacy is where my life lives on.

How do I out live myself?

We must live beyond ourselves. Everybody has problems. We must serve together , so that we can gain prospective.

The Queen of Sheba sought the wisdom of God through Solomon. It was actually a bunch of people fulfilling their roles in service to their King in a culture of joy.  (1 Kings 10:1-13)

Packaging is equally as important as content.  It's how we present Christ is whether people taste and see that the Lord is good.  If I've met Jesus and I've met you, will I still want to know Him.

Matthew 5:14 New King James Version (NKJV)

14 You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

The world is not rejecting Christ, but they are rejecting you and your presentation of Him.

Romans 14:10 (NKJV)

10 But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

We will all take a two question test in eternity.  We have the questions and the answers.  You must be prepared.

1. What did you do with my Son Jesus?

Romans 6:23 New King James Version (NKJV)

23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

God did not create hell for people, but sin will get you there.

Matthew 25:41 New King James Version (NKJV)

41 “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:

Jesus has already paid for your sins.  Who would pay a bill that's already been paid for?  People do that with God all the time.

The Great White Throne Judgement is for people who have not accepted Jesus as their Lord.

Revelation 20:11-12  (NKJV)

11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened.

And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.

The books in the above Scripture represents your sins.  The Bible says that every word that you've ever spoken is recorded (Matthew 12:36).

The book is if you've surrendered your life to Jesus.  How do you get into that book?

Matthew 7:21-23 New King James Version (NKJV)

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’

23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

What did you do with my Son, Jesus?  God will ask you.  The correct answer is that I knew Him personally as my Lord, and He died in my place .

It is not a result of your works to be saved; however,it is based upon Jesus's dying on the Cross for you, and you accepting it for you.

However, if you are saved, your life will have works.

2. What did you do with what I gave you? Is the second question you'll be asked in eternity.

The Judgement Seat of Christ is for Christians.

2 Corinthians 5:10 (NKJV)

10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

Matthew 6:20 New King James Version (NKJV)

20 (Jesus teaching) but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.

We are saved by grace, but we are rewarded by our works at the judgement seat of Christ.

Revelation 22:12 (NKJV)

12 “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.

How do I live my life to receive my rewards at the Judgement seat of Christ?

1 Corinthians 3:9-15 N (NKJV)

For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building.

10 According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it.

11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

12 Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw,

13 each one’s work will become clear; for the (Judement) Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is.

14 If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward.

15 If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

It's not talking about your salvation, but about you getting the rewards from what you did in Christ.

Before you find Jesus, your life is about finding Jesus.  After you've found Jesus, you've got to intentionally make a difference.

1. I have to intentionally give what I have.

You will be judged based upon what you have and not what do don't have. Be a percentage giver who plans to give.  Not a spontaneous giver who responds to pulls upon your emotions. You give what God tells you to do.  Serve others.  Give with acts of kindness cards.

2. I will intentionally share Christ.

You are an Ambassador for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20).

Which question are your struggling with right now?  What did you do with your life?  OR What did you do with God's Son, Jesus?

If you acknowledge Jesus, He will acknowledge you (Matthew 10:32).

Say...Jesus, I believe that you are the Son of God, and you died for me.  I'm asking you to forgive my sin and be the Lord of my life. Now and forever more.
