Our lifeline to develop our trust in God is through His written word accompanied by our prayer life.
In prayer, we tell God what's going on, and lean into Him.
Prayer moves our mind from all its distractions to focus on the greatness of our God.
The writer of Proverbs put it this way.
Proverbs 3:5-6 AMPC)
5 Lean on,
trust in,
and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind
and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.
6 In all your ways
know,
recognize,
and acknowledge Him,
and He will direct
and make straight
and plain your paths.
Prayer is linking together with God's Spirit, plan, identity, promises, and protection.
Link with God's Spirit and pray according to His Spirit's promptings even while praying.
(Always check God's voice in you with God's written word while praying and obeying).
Psalm 91:1 (AMPC)
1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand].
We can rely on God because we are under His protection as we tune our spiritual ear to His Spirit in obedience.
Watch what happens when you obey God's voice in your heart, and when you don't.
Every act of obedience will build your faith.
Romans 8:26 NIRV)
26 In the same way, the Holy Spirit helps us when we are weak.
We don’t know what we should pray for. But the Spirit himself prays for (& with) us.
He prays through groans too deep for words.
We don’t know what we should pray for. But the Spirit himself prays for (& with) us.
He prays through groans too deep for words.
Make an appointment with God in order to practice His presence throughout the day and to experience His power.
There is not a greater way to develop trust in God than to lean into Him in prayer.
Remember...
No Prayer = No Power.
Know Prayer=Know Power.
