Satan tries to get us to doubt God's timetable.
He tempts us to wander off from God to take care of ourselves.
When we do that, we are venerable to a Satanic attack.
God turns temptation against Satan and uses it to purify our motives.
For us to be tested, God signs off on the test.
One of Satan's tactics is to convince us that God is not good or even dependable.
Yes, God does cause us to wait; however, God allows us to wait to strengthen our loyalty to Him alone, He does this to mature our dependence upon Him.
To overcome test, we too must hunger for dependence upon God over instant gratification.
When God is causing you to wait, instead of plotting an escape.
Ask God for His perspective.
His perspective will keep you from wandering away to chase Satan's bait.
God's gifts to us are not only perfect, but perfectly timed. Not only are they uninterruptedly coming down upon us, but also strategically spaced and timed.
His gifts are like the rays that are strategically timed and spaced from the sun, moon, and stars which give us constant light.
Think of temptation like a test that's misread. If you feel temptation tugging, refocus on God's perspective, and you'll escape.
In fact, you'll rejoice instead of complaining because you'll recognize you're being remade into God's image.
