Satan entices you to think that he is not a person at all.
Satan is not currently in hell, but he is on the earth. (I Peter 5:8)
The Bible refers to him as a deceiver, a liar, an accuser, and a predator.
He has a kingdom of fallen angels, which we call demons.
When Jesus was tempted, Satan offered his demonic kingdom to Him. (Luke 4:5-7 and Matthew 12:26)
In Rev. 16:14, Satan is seen as herding the nations of the earth towards destruction.
His demon spirits are working in the world's leaders to destroy their nations.
This is not a war between human beings, but Satan is planning an all out war against God.
In 2 Cor. 4:4, Satan is called the god of this age, and He is planning an open revolt against God Almighty.
In Isaiah 14:13, he is Lucifer, which means light bearer; however, he brings darkness.
In John 8:44, he is referred to as a murderer and his method is deception.
Wiles are his methods, and he is designing tactics to kill you.
He uses devices, snares, and lies to take you by force. (I Tim. 2:26)
Spiritualism is New Ageism and Astrology. Sorcery means pharmacy or drug abuse.
Sorcery uses drugs to create an instant heaven, which leads to an instant hell. (Read I John 4:1, Lev. 19:31, and Rev. 9:21) Recognize Satan for who he is.
Are you in collusion or collision with the devil?
In Matthew 26:40, Jesus' disciples were told by Him to watch for temptation and pray.
God would not have us to ask for deliverance if it was not His will to do it. We must rely upon God's sovereign protection against Satan.
We must keep our focus upon the glorious Kingdom of God. We don't have to fear, fall, or faint, but to stand in God's protection.
God's Kingdom is absolute. A nuclear plant does not create power, but releases it.
We have the Holy Spirit's power, and faith in God through prayer in Jesus' name releases it. (John 14:13)
When your reason for asking and God's reason for answering are the same, your prayer will be answered.
We are to pray for God's glory. We have access to a Father who hears, and an absolute King who answers.
