How to achieve significance:

1. We must confess our weaknesses and celebrate our small wins.

2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

When I am weak, then I am strong.  We need God. What win can I celebrate today?

2.  We must Prioritize others and respond to opportunities of service.

James 4:2  (NIV)

You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God.

Take your eyes off yourself.  If God answered your request, would it only benefit you or others?

John 5:24 (NIV)

24 “Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my (Jesus's) word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.

3.  We must invest in eternity.
Know God who has an eternal perspective.  God wants to call you into a life of significance, but this can't happen without knowing Him.

Jeremiah 29:13  (NIV)

You will seek me (God) and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
