Relationships without Regrets

(Romans 8:28) And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

WHAT IF?

 God healed my relationships.

 God showed us our purpose together.

 God used us to make a difference.

(Lamentations 5:21 MSG) Bring us back to you, GOD—we're ready to come back. Give us a fresh start.

RELATIONSHIPS WITHOUT REGRET

(2 Corinthians 7:10) Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.

 1. Set a God-first priority.

(Matthew 22:36-39) Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law? Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.”

2. Invest in relationships.

(1 Samuel 18:3 NLT) And Jonathan made a solemn pact with David, because he loved him as he loved himself.

 Be intentional.

 Put time into it.

 Stick with it.

3. Start now.

(1 John 3:18 NLT) Let us stop just saying we love each other; let us really show it by our actions.

 When you think something good, say it.

 When you think something special, do it.

 When you want something different, be it.

(Isaiah 43:18-19 NLT) But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.

4. Keep no records of wrong.

(1 Corinthians 13:5 MSG) (Love) doesn't force itself on others, isn’t always "me first," doesn't fly off the handle, doesn't keep score of the sins of others.

(Proverbs 10:12) Hatred stirs up dissension, but love covers over all wrongs.

(Psalm 130:3 NLT) LORD, if you kept a record of our sins, who, O Lord, could ever survive?
