How Do I Live?

Understanding God’s Timing

God desires everyone to be saved.

God loves you right where you are.  Nothing you do disqualifies you from God's love.

(John 3:16) For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

God has a plan to  reach the world through you.

(Matthew 28:18-20) Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

God is waiting until the completion of His plan to return.

(Matthew 24:14) And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

(2 Peter 3:8-13) But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming.

How Do I Live In These Times?

1. See the significance of every day.

(Ephesians 5:15-16) Be very careful, then, how you live--not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.

2. Share the unconditional love
 of Jesus.

(John 13:34) “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”

3. Communicate the Great Commission.

(Luke 10:2) He (Jesus) told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.

Time to Choose

(Psalm 2:8) Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.

We can survive our generation or we can steward our generation.
